Independent home in a trullo village
The trullo is in an old complex of trulli (1800) with a tower that was build around 1600 d.c.!
From the front you can view the sea or take a walk between olive and almond's trees. Is fun for kids, very quiet but also comfortable because in a few minutes walk you can walk into the center of Selva di Fasano and do your grocery shop or take a nice coffee or, in the summer, listen to some music! It is comfortable for 4 people, but can be still easy for 6!
In the structure there are three apartments, each one of them has private open space right outside its entrance. There is a wild garden and country where little walks can be taken. Each guest should give other guests their privacy outside their home.
We spend a lot of time in our trullo, so, mostly in the summer time, we can be right there if you need any advice to where to go or what to see!
OUR TRULLO VILLAGE IS IDEAL ALSO FOR GROUPS OR FOR TWO FAMILIES TRAVELING TOGETHER! We have another little independent trullo that can accommodate other 3 guests!
NATURAL AIR CONDITIONING! DO YOU KMìNOW WHY?
The trullo is part of the constructions defined as "dry stone" which means without the use of glues. The walls and the roof are in fact built using only local stones and soil.
The walls, made up of two stone facings with an interspace of earthy material, optimize the natural thermoregulation of the internal environments.
The secret is: the thickness of the walls!
In our village it can measure up to 3 meters! This enormous thickness acts as a thermal flywheel, capable of accumulating, very slowly, the summer heat and subsequently transferring it inside the trullo during the winter season.
Furthermore, the constant temperature is guaranteed by micro-air chambers that were created, between one stone and another, at the time of construction and which are able to absorb the temperature range.
The air chambers therefore, combine with the thickness of the walls, keep the temperature of the internal environments constant which oscillates between 18 and 22 degrees centigrade!

Il trullo fa parte delle costruzioni definite "in pietra a secco" che significa senza l'utilizzo di collanti. I muri e il tetto sono infatti costruiti utilizzando solo pietre locali e terriccio.
I muri, costituiti da due paramenti in pietra con intercapedine di materiale terroso, ottimizzano la termoregolazione naturale degli ambienti interni.
Il segreto è: lo spessore dei muri!
Nel nostro borgo arriva a misurare fino a 3 metri! Questo enorme spessore funge da volano termico, capace di accumulare, con grandissima lentezza, il calore estivo e di trasferirlo successivamente all’interno del trullo durante la stagione invernale.
Inoltre, la temperatura costante è garantita da micro-camere d'aria che si sono create, tra una pietra e l'altra, al momento della costruzione e che sono in grado di assorbire l’escursione termica.
Le camere d'aria quindi, unite allo spessore dei muri, mantengono costante la temperatura degli ambienti interni che oscilla tra i 18 e i 22 gradi centigradi!
