Vriendelijke ontvangst en de kamer was al klaar toen we ver voor tweeën aankwamen. Heel fijn! Vanwege Corona veel beperkingen maar deze zijn keurig opgelost door het hotel. Het diner was vooraf te bestellen en op een afgesproken tijdstip beneden op te halen, het was erg lekker tegen een goede prijs. Het ontbijt was de dag tevoren te bestellen middels een keuzeformulier en de volgende morgen op een afgesproken tijdstip op te halen. Echt prima verzorgd en op de kamer te gebruiken (we misten alleen peper en zout voor de eieren). De badkamer is vrij nieuw en ziet er keurig en schoon uit. De bedden zijn naar mijn mening wat zacht en een mooie foto van Texel aan de wand zou de kamer net wat meer sfeer geven. Voldoende kastruimte en verder is alles aanwezig. Voldoende parkeergelegenheid voor de auto en fiets. De ligging is prima; rustig gelegen en het centrum is zo'n 700 meter lopen.
Het hotel kan hier weinig aan doen maar wat een asociale gasten zaten er naast ons op de kamer. Tot 2.00 uur in de nacht herrie en lawaai.

A good comfy place for a stay in De Koog. It is close to the main hub of the town and has a decent restaurant and bar. The sauna/steamroom was nice in the morning, and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic! It was quite expensive however but this seems to be right across Texel - it's not a cheap place to visit. The staff were all very kind and helpful.
Nothing of major issue, just felt expensive compared to a similar standard of hotel in the UK.

The hotel was recently renovated and looked good. The breakfast was good but nothing excellent. The inner garden was great and offered some good place for relaxation.
The coffee wasn't great, hope they make some improvements there.

Mooie locatie, alles was schoon en netjes.
Jammer dat de hotel kamer geen water kokertje en mini koelkastje had.

Great breakfast. Clean accomodation. Quiet room. Really good wellness space.
No mini fridge or airco, so we think it was a bit pricy.

Excellent hotel for 3 stars. Modern decor at the bar and in the dining hall, breakfast is good, good quality of rental bikes and staff is attentive.
I recommend more vegatarian options for diner.

good beds, comfortable and clean
We only came in for one night sleep, did not use the facilities and went out the next day. The rate was over 215 euros which included breakfast.
We didn’t want to use breakfast but after requesting to remove the breakfast cost, we received a message we could receive a discount of 15 eur for 4 persons. You can say this is nice but this is quite an expensive stay, for nothing special imho. Surely we appreciate the gesture but I would probably have gone back at a hotel who would think along a bit more 😉

If you don’t speak Dutch or German, you can expect some difficulties (e.g the menu is only available in Dutch). In addition, the employees were not that helpful nor welcoming.

We spend a weekend with the family and our dog. Beautiful hotel, newly renovated, nice room, very clean, good beds (even the extra’s for the kids) and nice bathroom with bathtub and shower. Breakfast was excellent and abundant. Very friendly staff.
Our dog thought the small gap from the elevator to the floor would lead to the depth of Moria where a Balrog was waiting to devour him. But as he also was convinced that one can not just simply walk the stairs, he had to face his fear several times per day. Luckily the staff and other guests were all good sports and didn’t mind us taking so long to step in or out of the elevator.
(Never mind this - we liked everything about the property ;) there is no Balrog living in their basement - or is it?)

Stayed in May 1st week. The food was great. Though we eat vegetarian food, they managed to give very good varieties 😋. Walkable distance to Koog center to buy necessities.
Felt room was little warmer in the night and there was no option to reduce temperature (other than opening balcony window)
