Montparnasse Daguerre

Well located hotel in Montparnasse.

Tiny lift and in between levels so you need to walk up ore down half a level.

Convenient location, close enough to historical places and various types of transport. Rue Daguerre is a bit busy and noisy, but the hotel is at the end of the street and it is quieter there. A lot of places to eat and little shops of all kinds.

There is a very small lift in the hotel and you need to go up or down the stairs to get to the lift. It can be a problem if you have a lot of luggage and not strong enough to carry it on the stairs. The breakfast costs £13 and includes enough of various types of food except a cooked one like an omelette. There is a temptation to go to a local cafe but there are only a few that open early enough and serve breakfast. At least, we were not able to find such cafe near the hotel. You can buy a really nice fresh pastry, but there is no kettle in the room to have a cup of tea or coffee with this pastry:)

La camera era minuscola. Il bagno vecchio e tenuto male. La mia amica ha trovato il lenzuolo sporco, è dovuta scendere in reception, farsi dare lenzuola pulite e rifarsi il letto da sola.
