La localización.

El hotel entrega habitaciones que sabe que son defectuosas. Hab. 2125 el agua de la ducha sale excesivamente caliente y es imposible que se regule. Se avisa de esta situación recepción a las 18 h y no se arregla ni se ofrece cambio de habitación. Al quejarnos al día siguiente, nos dicen que debiamos coger una toalla y girar muy fuerte el mando de la ducha, que saben que hay problemas pero que no se repara. El mando de la ducha giraba sin problema 360 grados. La recepcionista totalmente pasiva y cortando la atención para atender a otros clientes, ¡hizo lo mismo en la entrada!. Además de una preocupante falta de mantenimiento, también de profesionalización en recepción (se tiran la culpa unos a otros y reconocen que sabían que el agua salía demasiado caliente, por lo visto pasa en más habitaciones). Pero la culpa de todo esto es de la dirección y precaria gestión hotelera. Dos posibles soluciones: bloquear la habitación y reparar la averia antes de volverla a entregar o avisar al cliente para que lleve su propia llave de fontanero (ironia). No es la primera vez que nos alojamos en este establecimiento pero tal vez sí la última.

Le personnel est très sympa et fait vraiment l’effort pour nous comprendre, étant capable d’utiliser l’anglais, le français et l’espagnol dans la même phrase 😂 Le GROS PLUS : une wallbox est disponible au «  premier garage » y en plus gracieusement ! Plutôt bien situé : bouche de métro à 2mn, arrêt ligne rouge du bus de tourisme à environ 15 mn à pieds, proche de plusieurs resto

Ne comptez pas sur le sèche cheveux, absolument aucune puissance et si vous avez prévu de dormir la nuit, mieux vaut réserver une chambre côté cour. Côté rue… Le moins que l’on puisse dire c’est qu’ il y a de l’ambiance … et absolument toute la nuit. Bouchons d’oreille vivement conseillés

Muy buena relación calidad-precio. He estado en hostales más caros y mucho peores. La habitación era enorme. Camas cómodas. Personal amable. Check in rápido al poder hacerlo online. Si vais a algún concierto a la Sala Apolo la tenéis a menos de un minuto del hotel. Sin duda repetiremos.

Lovely rooms and a great location for exploring the city

Perfect location for us, 10-15 minute walk to the port, 30 minute walk to the beach. Lots of great local restaurants near by, supermarkets everywhere and a short flat walk to La Rambla. Comfortable bed, even better once we finally got extra pillows. Fridge in room, plenty of space. Breakfast at the properly is only 9 Euro which is the cheapest we’ve seen at any hotel. We were in the second building so meant we had no noise when leaving the windows open at night

Aircon was really loud however it worked so we were thankful. No shower screen or curtain so the bathroom does get pretty wet, also no fan or opening window in bathroom.

The location is amazing, there’s a metro station 1 minute walk away and it’s one of the main lines in Barcelona so you’ll move around easily. It’s also very close the main Rambla with La Boqueria market, as well as the marine and Colon plaza. Everyone spoke English if our terrible Spanish wasn’t enough (we really tried our best being Portuguese). Breakfast was simple but consistent in quality. They always changed our towels, even when it wasn’t necessary.

Small details as we only really were in the room for sleeping, but we asked for double beds and got twins. Even if they were separated, seeing we’d requested double, they could have made the beds as one, I think. But it’s not really important. The walls had some stains and holes. The shower head leaked if you turned the water pressure too high. We unplugged the telephone because the visor was blinking. AC was a bit noisy and there was paper covering the blinking light of the fire alarm (that just amused us and made us laugh as it would be something we’d do ourselves). But again, not reasons to complain to the reception about. One night we didn’t have towels and had to go down and request them but they were warm and nice so it was better than having them in the room already :D

Staff exceptional, could not have been more helpful. We had a handbag stolen from our car whilst parked in Barcelona and they were very helpful in us dealing with the situation. Hotel in walking distance of la Ramblas, but area has a lot of problems with thefts, etc. so be very careful when out and about. The nearby Elche Restaurant very good.
