Harry's Hotel

A very convenient place to stay in the middle of Wales. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food and atmosphere were good - lovely locals.

navigating to our room was tricky, with many rooms and stairs 😄

Ease of access to town

Central location means street is quite noisy on a Saturday, but depends where your room is located but it suited us for the location.

Great location, very central, only a 4 minute walk from the Railway Station. Good value for money, would definitely stay there again. Very nice Bar & Bistro and very nice continental breakfast. Very near the castle and the coast. Very near other pubs and restaurants.

No lifts, had to use the stairs. No cooked breakfast as it was all continental but I didn't mind that tho. They had no salami available on the continental breakfast on the Sunday tho but not to worry. Be nice if they had Premier Sports Rugby Channel so then I could've watched the Dragons first home game of the season against Benetton but not to worry as it's a new channel that only came out recently.

It has a bar downstairs, shower was powerful and it was clean

Breakfast was basic, no hot food and limited choice. Room felt small think premier inn hub small. The whole building is on the wonky side meaning our room was on a tilt and a few times it felt like we were falling out of bed. Bed was also small. Pillows uncomfortable. Constant outside noise kept me up most of the night. Regardless of the windows being open or closed (the little amount that it did open). The shower, although powerful, kept getting hot and cold. Price for one night being £89 on a Tuesday is a little steep especially for what you're getting. I think a better price would be near the £50 mark.
