Location Good breakfast.
No fridge in room. Don’t like the type of hangers that are permanently fixed. No kettle facilities although tea and coffee could be delivered free. No chain on plug.

My wife and I traveled for over 2 weeks in Ireland. This bed was outstanding. The most comfortable bed we had stayed in on our trip; high quality sheets. fluffy pillows. down comforter, firm bed but not a brick like most beds we slept on in Ireland. The windows opened wide for a cool breeze at night. The room was spacious and comfortable. The gym was spacious and had a Concept 2 rower, kettlebells, stationary bike. walking distance all we wanted to see. Great value for the quality of the room.
A security light on the outside lawn, was directly on our window. The blackout curtains blocked it, but then it also limited the airflow.

The location. Easy to walk around town.
The rooms were large and bed was comfortable.
The shower worked well.
The dining room, The Maigue, served excellent food. And the breakfast was delicious!
There were 2 lounges where we could sit and play cards in.

Breakfast very good.
A surprise extra charge of €50 (refundable) which I was not made aware of when booking. Described by receptionist as a security charge. Room was fully paid for on arrival, as two A.O.Ps we were disappointed to be viewed as a security risk
