The location is perfect, positioned on the shores of Lake Geneva. The decor is a little dated but very clean and serviceable. The breakfast offer was good. Yvoire itself is a beautiful medieval village.
You have to bear in mind that the village is pedestrianised. You can take your car down to the hotel to off load your luggage but then have to park it 15 minute walk away. It does involve a steep walk back up to retrieve it. However the village and hotel are well worth a visit.

On the lake front (literally) . Staff were very friendly. Our room was huge with a balcony and gorgeous view of the lake and across to Switzerland. The bed was big and comfy. Everything very clean and a well thought out room with coffee machine. The hotel was wonderfully peaceful. Very good two nights sleep. We are in the hotel restaurant and enjoyed a lovely meal. We loved our stay. Yvoire is a special place and this hotel was the favourite one of a two week stay across France

Its location
Breakfast was very expensive and basic. There was heavy construction occurring in the room above us at 9 am and the rooms were very basic and lacked a shower
