Immediately we were struck by the friendliness and welcome of the lady on reception. The views are amazing. The restaurant breathtaking.

This is a pleasant hotel with fabulous views to the surrounding countryside and is in a very good location in the centre of the village. The beds were comfortable, the room was furnished in a traditional and minimalist Provençal style. The restaurant meal we had was fabulous with great service.

The hotel was shut when we arrived and nobody answered the phone when we rang, granted that we had arrived earlier than our check in time but we would normally expect hotels to be open during the day. I was at that point stuck with all the luggage outside as my husband had gone back to stay with the car that wasn’t in a proper space but he returned just as the lady came to open up thankfully. There was no shower attachment on the wall so you have to hold the shower to wash - a bit awkward and primitive for this day and age. Also, the cubicle had a plastic shower curtain instead of having a shower screen, which isn’t as nice as having a screen. Lack of space for clothes in the tiny wardrobe. The drawers were very small and smelled so didn’t want to put anything inside. Overall the rooms would need a bit of an upgrade to match the trappings of the fabulous restaurant but as it stands is a bit mismatched.
