I have a big problem on of the royal maadi hotel there was a guy working on the hotel that insulted me and made me leave

I have a big problem on of the royal maadi hotel there was a guy working on the hotel that insulted me and made me leave my room after I checked in 10 mins and he didn’t want to give me my money back and i want this money w want to make a refund and he told me I will not give you your money I paid it by my visa card and i want to refund

Overall it was a wonderful stay!

The location, the size of the suite apartment and most importantly the staff. The staff are super nice and helpful.

Perfect location but the AC in the rooms is awful

The rooms are very spacious and clean. The staff replies to any complaint promptly and the location is perfect

The air conditioning is the worst in this hot weather! We couldn’t sleep for the 3 nights. we had to ask for a fan, they gave it to us right away but it was broken as well. The AC worker came to try to fix it several times but it seems that the machines are very outdated that there was no way the temperature goes down below 26 if not more! Also the furniture is outdated but that didn’t bother us as much as the AC with a 43 degree weather.

Great location, HUGE rooms, clean and great staff. Exceptional value for money!!!!

The rooms are big! I booked for 1 person and pleasantly surprised to find my booking had 2 large bedrooms. The place was clean and staff was friendly. I would stay again, great value for money and great location.

I wish there was A.C in the room, though did not make my stay less comfortable cause the weather was okay. An A.C would be a plus.

Room size.

The hotel team and staff have no understanding of hospitality and were very rude to me and lack basic manners. The experience is average but I will not stay in this hotel ever again.

Pleasant

Some rooms (at top floor only) are renovated and well equipped

Other rooms have not been renovated, they have old mattresses which are too uncomfortable, they should not be replaced. Some staff needs to be trained on how to handle Western tourists if this hotel wants to attract more Western tourists. Their service is very inconsistent and takes a lot of time from the guest to manage reception staff.

Pleasant

The cafe right next door to the hotel is great, I ate most of my meals there.

The rooms on the lower levels need an upgrade. The wifi was patchy at best, most of the time I couldn't connect.

Great hotel for Maadi if you want to be away from busy Cairo.

Many restaurants , cafes and bakeries are near. Location is safe and quiet. Staff are exceptional and super clean rooms. Showers, bathrooms and balcony are large. Street parking is near. Very green area for Cairo. Close to a number of embassies.

Breakfast could be better and , Wi-Fi is weak. It’s 30 min drive to centre and 45 to Pyramids.

Nice, comfortable, in good area.

The room is nice, big, comfortable. First time that I find the same room as on it's pictures. The staff is very nice and kind. The neighborhood and location are good. Next to hotel you have caffee, restaurants.

The wifi is not free (it says on description), but they could consider for the wifi to be free of charge.

The hotel needs to put professional staff at the reception and learn how to handle guests

There was no breakfast

Reception staff are rude. They didn't allow me to pay through booking.com and they insist I pay at the reception in cash or card. They asked me to pay $4 per night for a WIFI which should have been included in the room rate and made available to guests like so many hotels do.

Good Location, Good Value.. Overall Experience can be better, if the staff is trained well.

The Location of the Hotel was good, rest the complete experience was avarage. Rooms were nice and clean. Lady staff were kind, supportive and helpful.

Staff (male) were quite aggressive in behavior (lot of professionalism / training required). Internet even after paying extra everydat, was a dissaster and no one was supportive to solve the issues faced. Standard instructions, but no support of solution. After many follow-ups the internet worked, but was quite slow for work related issues.

Comfy, quiet and cozy but there’s not a whole lot to do inside the hotel.

Exceptional staff. Very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and had a lot of facilities. There was a television, a refrigerator, a microwave, a stove and an ironing board. The location of the hotel was great. It’s a relatively quiet area but only a few minutes (walking) away from main streets that have a lot of restaurants and markets.

Only continental breakfast is available. No swimming pool and no common areas, only the surrounding restaurants.
