1st & Pearl Cottage è un posto favoloso sul Village Green, nel cuore di Leland, nel Michigan. Questa storica casa di Leland è solo un isolato da negozi, ristoranti, golf, pesca e nautica. Camminare o andare in bicicletta fino al Lago Michigan e al Lago Leelanau! Vai a tutto. Divertimento, posizione centrale per stare con gli amici o la famiglia per godere veramente questo posto magico! portare bici, kayak, SUP e 'parcheggiali' nel garage originale.
Questo cottage caldo e accogliente e moderno offre 5 camere da letto, 4 bagni completi, lavanderia enorme, caminetti, una spaziosa sala da pranzo per i pasti o la notte di gioco, tavolo della colonica con angolo colazione e un'incantevole veranda coperta con vista sul Village Green. Abbiamo comodo dormire per 10 ospiti idealmente in (5) camere da letto private. Una stanza di famiglia e biblioteca per carte, film, puzzle, progetti artistici. Adirondacks sotto l'ombroso pino nel giardino privato.
Fai una gita di un giorno dal porto alle Isole Manitou per sentirti come se ti fossi davvero allontanato da tutto. Oppure prendi una crociera al tramonto serale per un viaggio lungo la riva del Lago Michigan fino a Good Harbor e ritorno. guarda il tramonto dal porto a pochi passi dalla porta principale mentre mangi un cono gelato o assaggi un delizioso caffè locale.
Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park entro 12 miglia, a pochi passi dalla casa ci sono infinite passeggiate sulla spiaggia e tramonti maestosi.

I’m a life long summer resident of Leland and happen to know the owners of this incredible property. This was the first time I’d been in and cannot rate it high enough—EVERYTHING you need for a great vacation is provided. The house is spotless and the location is without peer—-a block to center of town, 2 or 3 blocks to the lakes and to the river. What a great property!

Pearl House is charmingly decorated and located within easy walking distance of everything in the Lake Michigan tourist town of Leland, MI. The house was clean and well-equipped and worked well for our party of 6 adults and 2 toddlers. There are plenty of spaces for relaxing both in and out of the house, from a sun porch (very warm when the sun shines) to a comfortable living room, to a welcoming family room that includes a game/card table for the grownups and a small table perfectly sized for our granddaughters. Outside, there are numerous Adirondack chairs for gathering in fine weather.
The town of Leland itself is charming with a number of eateries, though a few of them were already closed for the season in early October, galleries (ceramics and pottery seem to be big in the area), and other touristy shops. We particularly enjoyed watching enormous King salmon leaping several feet out of the water trying to jump the dam on the Leelanau River from the wharf in Fishtown (the old, historic district down by the harbor). The town was surprisingly popular on Saturday afternoon even in October; it was pleasant to be able to watch the crowds go by from the house after spending the morning down at Sleeping Bear Dunes. (Other highly recommended activities we enjoyed were a bicycle winery tour from a bike shop in Sutton's Bay and a visit to Leelanau State Park at the tip of the Leelanau Peninsula).
Overall, it was pricey but very much enjoyed by all our family.

Melissa & Bryan's "Pearl" cottage in the heart of Leland is nothing short of a home away from home --- cozy, comfortable and clean! Decor was welcoming, the hosts were incredibly gracious and the even the neighbors were helpful & friendly. Perfect location to take in all that this wonderful area has to offer (Fishtown, hiking, biking, golf, farm-to-table dining, vineyards, beaches, shopping). We're already dreaming about our return.
