Hotel Landmark Canton

Location was good & bathroom was spacious

Carpet and sofa stained, rain shower not working properly

Great location, about 15mins walk to Beijing Rd area with great street food. Room was excellent with plenty of space, and a modern feel.

The bed was hard, even for regional standards. I spent one night sleeping on the couch for some relief.

It is in an ideal central location for easy access to other parts of the city as well as to local shopping malls and restaurants.

Although we were given a room upgrade, the standard of cleanliness - especially the carpet - was not as high as expected. Also, despite being on a non-smoking floor the smell of cigarettes was evident on occasion through the air-conditioning system. In all other respects we were happy with the room and the assistance provided by housekeeping and the cleaning team.

Overall I love this hotel n the able n responsive saff, that's why Me n wife have been staying at HLC the past decade or more,everytimes we visit GZ

1)The poor Wifi n HLC's blocking of Google,Youtube,Netflick etc 2)HLC's cowardice act of not facing/stopping the guests or staffs etc smoking in the hotel despite non smoking guest's complaints n hotel's staffs verbally acknowledging that they know peoples are smoking in their rooms. HLC claimed in their promotion of "No Smoking" thus enticed people to come n stay, yet does not enforce it, what if HLC got burned n hotel's guests n staffs died. 3)Hotel's Lifts have been a long problem!
