very climatic and colorful 200year old building, good location close to the most important tourist attractions in Arequipa, friendly and helpful staff

Stayed here for one night before Peru Hop pickup and it was decent. The building is cool but not much sunlight so it's chilly inside

Beautiful historic building exquisitely painted, with a nice courtyard to eat in, and a bar that opens on certain nights. Staff were able to book tours and buses for you. Social atmosphere was pretty good at the hostel as well. There was a salsa lesson as well.
Rooms don’t have powerpoints for each bed and no curtains, not a huge deal though. Dorm room bathrooms could have been cleaned a little more often, but weren’t bad.

Good location, spacious room and hot shower.
Cool secret bar open at night with vinyl music, but drinks are very expensive for a hostel.
Room smelt musty and no door for the toilet.
Arrived early so couldn't check in, used the shared toilet and it was disgusting. Very dated.
