A peaceful setting with great views.Spacious rooms with character. The restaurant was excellent with a range of breakfast choices. Also the evening meals were exceptional. Would definitely go again.
Nothing we disliked but it would be good to have more storage space in the rooms, Suitable work table and seating downstairs, and larger bath towels.

Lovely place to stay. Was upgraded to a double room which was a bonus as a solo traveller. Food at dinner and breakfast was very good and they offered a packed lunch service which was much appreciated as a walker and there are very few places to buy food in this part of Dorset. Had warned that a wedding was taking place in courtyard but would finish outside by 9.30pm. Good early warning.
Nothing of note.

The overall location was close to hiking trails but closer to the neighboring farm’s dung pile.
The overpowering stench of cow dung.
