Šiker B&B Hotel

It was a beautiful setting. The rooms were quite comfortable and had a simple beauty. The breakfast was amazing and the young women who staffed it were so attentive.

For a hotel this nice, it would be great to have someone greet you upon check-in. We were traveling by bicycle and couldn’t find anyone to help us know where to store our bikes. There was also no way to charge them outside.

A microwave somewhere in general location would be great.

Good location for an overnight stay on route from Italy to Budapest.

Although we were told that reception had certain hours, it was a bit strange to find nobody from management around until the next day. No instructions as to how to contact anybody in an emergency. We booked dinner as the restaurant had a great review. We were told that it was 100m from the hotel. It was, but up a gravel path that you need appropriate shoes for. We made it up in the light, but I had to struggle down the poorly lit path to get the car to bring my wife back. So, take your car. I assumed that I could charge our meal to the room, but it was not possible. Very strange. The room was OK, but not great considering the price. Breakfast acceptable. Being German run no bidet unlike its neighbour Italy.
