Exquisitely decorated with extraordinary taste and attention to detail, the tea cozy hotel was the nicest hotel we stayed at in China. It was dramatically different from all the other hotels in Yangshuo. It was perfectly located and very comfortable. Hannah and the other staff couldn’t have been nicer, providing breakfast and advice on local attractions, performing a tea ceremony for us, and setting us up with electric scooters. In addition, it was ridiculously inexpensive- although it would was off season.

I had a fantastic stay at the Yanshuo Tea Cozy. The view from my room was breathtaking and the room itself was spacious and well decorated. The staff were all lovely and super helpful in providing recommendations and arranging activities with free bike rental included. The food was also all fantastic. The included breakfast sets that I tried were all great - both the Chinese and the Western breakfasts. There was a huge selection available for dinner and it all tasted really good and was reasonably priced.

Great location - about 5km away from Yangshuo town and right across the road from the beautiful riverwalk. Staff were extremely helpful. Xiaohe helped me get a covid test in town (showed me how to set up an account on the hospital mini-app) and staff members also organized a trusted driver to take me to Xianggong Mountain at dawn and a rideshare to take me back into Guilin. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and filling (loved the homemade doujiang) and the dining area was a really nice place to relax. The hotel provides free bikes to use - amazing! I biked into town and cycled along the Ten-Mile Gallery. If you aren't in such a hurry I really recommend this way of getting around so you can really appreciate and marvel at the scenery. The hotel style and building/s are very charming with an emphasis on natural materials and Chinese design. My 5th floor room had a cute balcony with a nice view!

No complimentary coffee provided in room despite a sign in room saying otherwise; room security/locks could be better (regular turn keys are used and doors seem to open easily); several small spiders found on bedding on first night which is understandable given the mountain setting but it made it hard to relax in bed.

beautiful small and cute hotel in a good location near Yangshuo town. it’s our 3th time here. Quite with amazing views. the staff is nice and helpful. everything in Tea Cozy is simple oerfect.

LOCATION AND SWIMMING POOL

If you get any towel dirty then you have to pay the cost of it, my towel was dirty by tanning oil and had to pay the cost of it.

Beautiful location, lovely pool, very spacious rooms, comfortable bed, nice balcony. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, hiring taxis and booking tickets for us. We wished we could have stayed longer.

The hire bicycles could perhaps use updating (though they are ok for short rides, and free after all). Bathroom sink had sprung a leak (but staff prompt to fix it).

I loved the location, aesthetic, pool, food, staff and everything at this hotel. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the mountains. The place feels traditional Chinese which is what we wanted. The pool overlooks the lily pads and is a perfect escape from the heat. The food is good. And the staff are extremely helpful. I have already recommended this place and would stay there again
