Loved our traditional room.
Feeling a bit old and tired. Not much by way of restaurants etc locally. Easy access to the train through.

Small inn in the quiet part of Hakone. Staff was really friendly and explained everything to their abilities. I understand some level of Japanese and the staff was very grateful for it. The onsens were amazing too!
It is on the quieter side of town and you may need to take a quick one stop bus ride to the nearby konbini for dinner/ breakfast, but it’s a nice experience to Hakone’s neighbourhoods

There are two indoor onsen and two outdoor onsen. Owner was very nice to provide yukata and even rubber bands for tying of hair.
Toilet was located outside the room.

Just a short walk from Ohiradai station, this place was quiet, clean & offered a lovely traditional Japanese ryokan experience. The indoor & outdoor onsen were both delightful!
There are no meals available due to a lack of staff post-COVID. I just had snacks from the convenience store on the corner & didn’t look for other nearby options as it was just for one night.
