What an absolute gem! We were very pleasantly surprised by this accommodation - the setting, the staff, the room - all was better than expected.
If I had to nitpick, I'd say that the beds were perhaps a tad too hard. Someone who likes to have a TV at their disposal at all times would be disappointed to find no TV on the premises.

Apbrīnojami skaista vieta! Ļoti jauks, izpalīdzīgs un draudzīgs personāls! Sevišķa pateicība Lindai Ošiņai. Uzzinājām daudz interesantu faktu par Šlokenbekas muižu un tās apkārtni. Brokastis bija bagātīgas un garšīgas.
Istabiņa (#6) ir maza trijiem cilvēkiem ( piemēram, lietainā laikā), bet pietiekama pārnakšņošanai. Personīgi man pietrūka maziņš galdiņs (varētu būt saliekamais; ja nelieto var nolikt kaktā) vai vismaz vēl viens ķeblītis. Savādāk - viss lieliski! Liels paldies!

It's cheap, it's clean, it's basic, in an interesting location.
It was slightly disconcerting to arrive at 9pm to find the place dark. Having eventually got in there was some Russian-speaking guy sitting in the lobby in the dark watching videos on his mobile phone. I wished him a good evening, twice, assuming he was a staff member but he studiously ignored me, so I suppose he was a guest who for some reason liked sitting in the dark.
