We went to Chinchon especially for the square and the balcony looked out over all that was going on. The restaurants and bars were 15m from the door so location was perfect although hardly any noise. The apartment was very well equipped and bed comfortable.
Trying to find it took us an hour. In the end parked near the plaza major and walked. We arrived on Saturday and there was no parking on the square at weekends which would have made it much easier. We had a drink while looking so no real problem. If you have mobility problems the steep 22-23 steps to the apartment at the top would be tricky. The shower room very small for big people like me but not a real problem.

I enjoyed very much the location and the studio. In fact is located in Plaza Major with nice view toward it.

Very good cleaning
There is a self check in process which required some improvements, we received very late the details after calling and messaging for several hours to all mobiles I found. Since was almost 9pm I was very worry that I need to find another location for sleeping.

A charming little apartment with all you could want for. a short stay. The spa bath in the main room is a fun bonus, and we loved relaxing on the balcony as afternoon slipped into evening, watching activity in the unique main square below. We'd happily book again!
Car parking is not permitted in the main square on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays. Tricky finding an alternative - maybe the owners could provide a small map with this information in the apartment?

The location is excellent, most beautiful views to the main square from the balcony.
Mattress was comfortable
The whole place smells to a mix of cigarettes and old. Plus, the approximately 100 years old air conditioner blows smelly air, too. On the phone the owner pretended it's just something new from the previous guests, saying it's impossible to control (ever heard of smoke detector?).
The towels were damp and had a horrible smell of it as well.
On arrival the heating was not on, considering that night it was 0 degrees C. Took as over an hour to take jackets off. The owner again blamed third parties, in this case the cleaner that forgot to turn it on.
No support for shower head. To get to wash my long hair was quite an adventure.
Bedsheets, can't say for sure, if it's just the bed was done ages ago and therefore absorbed all the dampness and stinkiness of the place or "the cleaner forgot to change" as well.
There's a fireplace on the photos and in the description. Turns out, it's a real fireplace structure but a fake electric one is inserted into it, which description never mentions somehow.
When picking the room with fireplace pics and bathtub in the room on it,- don't buy into it. Those are pictures from different rooms. Also have a look on the reviews of this place on the web, they're not as pretty as here, which I discovered too late.
Overall, it's that feeling when you try to touch as little as possible and count hours until your stay is over and can't wait to wash your clothes.
One of my worst experiences with Booking.com!
