Great communication from the host even before arrival. We were made very welcome on arrival and allowed time to get settled in without any interference. We were travelling as a family of five adults and the house has plenty of space to accommodate this size of group. All the additional charges are well advertised, so we were fully prepared and had cash ready on arrival. The space around the house including the pool gives plenty of space. The host recycles the leftover items from previous visitors,(cleaning products, toiletries, etc.) stored in a small back kitchen area, which is a great idea. The house is very close to the highway.

The kitchen would benefit from extra storage for food items. The road from the small village to the house is very tight, I was driving a nine seat people carrier and turning in and out put me close to walls on all sides. The restaurant in the village is a seafood restaurant, unfortunately we cannot eat this.

My wife and I really enjoyed staying at this Villa! It was beautiful and peaceful and exceeded our expectations even though it was too cold outside to enjoy the pool ;). The location was perfect for exploring the Tuscany towns of SIena, Cortona, Pienza etc. We did some hiking in the area around the Villa and took in the thermal baths located in the small town a mile away. The Villa was stocked with everything we needed and could accommodate a much larger group. The host was very helpful and even gave us an extended checkout. We are thinking of bringing our family next time we stay here!!

I used Booking.com to make the initial reservation but had to work with Belvilla to finalize it. While I was able to be successful in finalizing the reservation, communication with Belvilla was very difficult. In fact for a while I thought I had been scammed. The address given in the final packet from Belvilla was not accurate, even with GPS. Upon arrival in the area and after much frustration I called the phone number on the reservation. Luckily it really was the host contact number and she rushed to meet and guide us to the Villa. It turns out she also had not received any detailed information about me either to help coordinate arrival. It worked out but I will be very careful about making reservations with Belvilla in the future.
