The secluded location up in the hills was amazing, yet only 5 minute drive to the local village of Agia Effimia which had supermarkets etc and lovely restaurants. The house was beautifully restored and well equipped. Very comfortable beds. The pool was lovely for early morning swim and cooling off in after day out. Good central location for day trips to north coast and further afield.

the location (far from the busy night life, cooler than at sea level, breathtaking view)
the house (modernized old stone house, the design - attention to details, the layout)
the wooden deck from the pool
the welcome (all the needed supplies were provided)
The pool pumps were very loud and would run 3-4 times a day for a couple of hours. The host was accomodating and changed the timing (to prevent the noise during the night) but even during the day, they would spoil the stay on the beautiful terrasse.

Very quiet setting atop a small mountain village which offers a lot of privacy and amazing views. The hosts were great and location perfect for exploring the northern part of the island. Would definitely recommend!
The access roads are a bit steep and tricky to maneuver around on but manageable after the first time
