Hotel Alte Fabrik

It was a spacious sort of flat (bathroom downstairs). Basic, but with everything we needed and very clean. Heating worked fine. Very friendly and efficient staff. Breakfast was a savoury continental breakfast, more than enough choices for us. Free parking, but limited spaces (no problem the 1st night, and we found on the road the 2nd night). Within walking distance of the station and the city centre (parking would have been difficult in the city center during the Christmas market).

The water in the shower went from hot to cold and back again.

The check in was very fast and easy. Our room was surprisingly large - very spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also large.

Great money value hotel. Friendly staff, spacious rooms, parking place and a fantastic Spanish restaurant nearby

Nothing

I found a toe nail in the middle of the floor, and when walking through the room once just with my socks on they’ve gotten super dirty. Similar for the bathroom where obvious white crumbs from the wall fell down next to the door. Therefore, I assume either their vacuum cleaner is just too bad, or they didn’t clean the floor at all, which is not OK for a Hotel.
