I loved staying at this guesthouse, already planning to come back again sometime. We stayed 3 nights. The guesthouse is in Tongli ancient town, which can get quite busy. But the guesthouse was on a totally quiet little road, just a few minutes walk from the action but safely hidden away when you want to escape. Spent a lot of time in the quiet hotel neighborhood drinking tea next to the canal and reading a book. Totally relaxing.

Great hospitality of the Host. He picked us up from the car parking with his tricycle and also later dropped us back to the car parking. The room is very neat and tidy. The Location of the room is also very near to the Tongli scenic area.

The Local registration had to be done by us by physically accompanying the host. In other places the host managed this by himself without Guests accompanying him to the government office. Waiting with two kids after a long day at the registration office was a bit uncomfortable.

The location and place is beautiful will stay there again the staff is very helpful and his English is fair

It was a little difficult to fine, but is is in a beautiful part of the city.

The owner was really friendly and came out to meet us by the town entrance so we could use his discount to buy entrance tickets (usually 100rmb, 80rmb with discount). The location is right close to the centre of Tongli. Room was super clean and well equipped, it was freezing outside but the air con worked well. Little bit noisy in the morning but you can’t expect any less in a chinese village like that! We were also upgraded for free as there was no one else staying which was a nice touch.

Very helpful staff. He drove us to coach station. Spacious and traditional designed room. Clean bathroom.
