The receptionist and hotel staff are very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are very comfortable with modern touches while still maintaining the old wood house vibes. All services are done perfectly making everything easy for guests.

Magnificent views. Friendly and willing-to-please staff. The quiet location and the walk from the hotel to the station along the beautifully maintained snowy track. Interesting and eclectic works of art and decoration. Beautiful light fitting. Ski room well equipped. The cleanliness.

More and correct information shared about the hotel and the resort within the hotel. Not being told one has to book the restaurants before arrival. The breakfast was a bit uninspiring. Bread wasn't generally up to the normal delicious Swiss standard. The spa needs more personnel visibly involved and explanation of what is available...no idea what the salt cellar was about. The outdoor pool could be open in the morning.

It was all about the view! Unbelieveable experience, would love to visit again. Restaurants were all great.

it took one hour and four different transport methods to get to the hotel , from two miles away in the town ! the children’s facilities outside the front of the hotel looked an eyesore and the hotel is very old fashioned and very expensive for good and drink

geographical position, view is perfect in the middle of the alps. comfort and food!

phones in the room! change to an app for local and in house usage, every one has a smart phone these days!

location was removed which was nice. speaking English was not a major deterrent with the staff

located above Zermatt, the night was completely silent. the breakfast was delicious and staff very friendly.

keep in mind it is remote and requires the train to reach it. hotel gives you a ticket for check in/out but you have to buy any others or hike to/from town.

What's not to like?? Fabulous location, super helpful staff making sure that you are taken care of throughout your stay. A spacious room with a great view, huge bathroom and a balcony looking at the Matterhorn. Breakfast had many options and once again, first rate service. Dinner was delicious both night (we ate at both restaurants) and again, outstanding service. Hans had a cocktail reception our first night and let us know he was responsible for everything but the weather, but he even managed to fix that for us our last day. A great host. The spa facilities are fantastic with many options.

We enjoyed the whole stay. It started with the friendly portier and reception team, the excellent work of the maid and ended with the excellent service and food in the restaurants and bar. The view is incredible. We also enjoyed the spa area. It is calm and you can enjoy nature arround the hotel.

However, for me as a small person (50 kg) and side sleeper the bed was too hard which resulted in neck problems. I also think that is is a pity that we had to pay for the train from Zermatt up to the resort and back.

We had the greatest guest experience ever! Everyone is exceptionally kind and helpful, the food is amazing, the room brings a warm feeling of "never willing to leave this place", and the view is absolutely mesmerizing!
