Excellent reception and checkin experience. Stayed in single room which had everything I needed. All staff where exceptionally approachable and helpful especially the evening manager who guided me on gluten free meal options and a good cider to try.

Great small hotel with fantastic food and lively bar/pub. Service and welcome were excellent and room in newer buildings was spacious and quiet. Shower was so powerful and hot; nice! Good stop for Offa’s walking as supermarket just a block away too.
Even in moderate temperatures, the room was a bit stuffy and warm as only one window to open a limited amount. Fan above bed helped, but we had to keep door open to outside for a while to cool down. Also, perhaps a bit expensive for room, but perhaps better value if you use pool, hot tub and gym.

Lovely hotel that's perfect if you're walking Offa's Dyke. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Highly recommend

The location was where we wanted to be , the room was clean very warm . The swimming pool was excellent.
The food was adequate but for what we paid was disappointed, the waiting staff were not very friendly or helpful.
