schöner Frühstücksraum, sehr hilfbereites Personal, nur wenn man kommt und muss den Schlüssel über einen Code aus einem Fach holen statt in der Rezeption empfangen zu werden ist für mich als Älteren Reisenden irritierend. Ging aber gut.

We stayed at another hotel because our reservation had not been registered (despite us getting a booking conformation). We discovered this on the day of arrival. Initially the hotel offered only apologies, but during the day the staff were helpful in finding another place in Weimar. This place was actually a good hotel where we had a pleasant stay.
The fact that we, despite paying in advance and getting a confirmation from Booking.com, could not stay at the hotel. The reason seemed to be a discrepancy between the system of the hotel and that of Booking.com. But as a client, I am not interested in explanations about technical reasons behind this. When you are busy travelling from Poland to Germany by train, it is very unconvenient to hear that you do not have a hotel to stay in and perhaps having to pay for an additional place elsewhere.
