Great location. Good food.

Gym was not up to standard. Very very basic, non-functioning air conditioning Some staff spent more time chatting at the bar than serving. After this was pointed out, services returned to the right level. An isolated issue.

Breakfast was great and the location was lovely. Good selction for dinner.

Some of the staff were more interested in chatting at the end of the bar than serving guests. Example, the 'Manager' suggested we take a seat on the terrace for drinks, he said someone would bring us menus. After 10 minutes, he was still standing at the end of the bar chatting to the bar staff. Nobody had given us menus, or taken orders. They had just walked passed us. After I had a 'quiet word' the service picked up. Other members of the team were great, attentive and very professional. The gym was not really a gym.... the aircon was not up to it and there was very limited kit. They have the space just didn't use it.

Often nobody around the reception area and some didn’t have enough knowledge about the hotel facilities or the location, which was a shame as the rest of the staff was outstanding

The rooms were amazing the facilities were perfect and the location best in class.

The staff was not very welcoming to begin with. They did not give me any details like: where to find the pool, that we need to book if we want to have dinner at the hotel as it gets busy, the service hours for breakfast - nothing. I felt they did not make any effort to make us feel Welcomed. A pity for such an amazing hotel.
