Good location for don Matteo places to meet, close to city centre, good view of attractions, good staff, good service, good breakfast.

Everything is great - amazing location, unique views and atmosphere, the interesting building, stylish rooms, decent breakfast, the supernice owner ar the reception. That was my 2nd visit and I'll be coming back again.
Some rooms are good and some are fantastic, definitely worth paying up a few euros for higher category.

The view, the management and the famous hotel cat. Very close to La Portella, a great place for a breathtaking view and a glass of wine.

Hotel unique building, surroundings and landscape, breakfast on the terrace.
The room was a bit ordinary. The bath was without a shower screen. Air conditioning weak without adjustment.

This is a truly magical place, very unique! Loved the interior. The view over the valley I would never forget.

The hotel is a wonderful piece of 60/70s design, almost all intact, and spectacularly situated. Some may therefore regard some of the room facilities as a little out-of-date, but for us it was an aesthetic delight.

the architectural aesthetic is to be commended
the challenge of the shower, however I appreciate the conversion to a more modern version may work against the overall appearance

Excellent location
Money taken from my wife's purse was returned by Hotel Manager - but a very unpleasant experience. Room was not on ground floor ( despite statement on booking form that it would be on ground floor), the hotel had no wifi throughout our stay. There was no air conditioning (booking statement said there was air conditioning). Our bathroom was uncomfortably small, there was a (small) bath, but no shower. Our room and the public areas needed a thorough clean.
