We loved being able to look at over the water and also have quick easy walk to the pedestrian-only historic district. Breakfast was simple but filling with a variety of cheeses and cured meats plus yogurt and granola, hard boiled eggs, and various crackers, jams, and honey. They had two varieties of fruit juices and made coffee/tea/ hot cocoa as requested. One morning I lost something in the hotel and the staff were extremely helpful with the search. Part of the breakfast area is in an interior courtyard and it was a treat to eat outside. There is free parking just across the river and it's an easy and safe walk over a pedestrian bridge to get to the hotel.

Our room's a/c dispensed cool air but not at the rate needed to keep up with the hot weather. To be fair, it could have been user error. We stayed over a weekend and a band played outside across the river until wrote late at night. We were amused but I can see that might bother early sleepers.

Great location and incredible view overlooking the river.

We specifically booked a room with a balcony. Our confirmation showed a room with a balcony. We we arrived we were told we only had a room with a view. Very disappointing. The front desk staff wasn’t very welcoming, the breakfast staff was very sweet. Also if you have mobility issues make sure you book a room with the lift. The stairs to room 133 and 134 are really difficult even with light luggage and we don’t avoid stairs normally! The 10” risers and broken handrail were hard to navigate.

The room is located in the city center. You can park your car for free near the room. The breakfast is good.

After looking at the photos and reviews of the hotel, I booked a double room. A few hours before check-in, from the hotel informed us that we would not be accommodated in the main building but at a different location. When we objected, we were told that if we didn't agree, we could cancel the reservation. The room where we were accommodated was at street level, gloomy, and noisy at night. The furniture was old. The setting did not match the photos at all.
