La Locanda Delle Donne Monache

Ottima accoglienza e grande gentilezza del personale. Allo stesso prezzo, ci hanno dato una Superior al posto di una Classic e una DeLuxe al posto di una Superior. La struttura è bella, ben ristrutturata, si sviluppa su più piani, ha molti spazi relax comuni (salottini, angolo biblioteca, giardino, piscina, palestra, ecc.).

L'insonorizzazione della stanza ci è sembrata scarsa. A parte i rumori degli ospiti delle stanze attigue, dalla nostra stanza (la DeLuxe), di notte, si sentiva un continuo gorgoglìo di acqua, probabilmente quello della piscina; ma niente di trascendentale. La colazione è buona ma abbastanza ordinaria: potrebbe essere valorizzata meglio introducendo più prodotti da forno (i croissant sembravano quelli industriali surgelati) e preparati (marmellate, formaggi, salumi, ecc.) del territorio. Il costo, 173 € /notte (tutto incluso), non mi è sembrato (in ottobre) particolarmente vantaggioso. Mi aspettavo un po' di più.

Beautiful location. Lovely owners. Good breakfast. Car parking was all organised for us. Immaculately clean. Lovely room and size. Toilets next to pool.

Our room was great & had a large balcony, the breakfast was excellent & the pool area was peaceful (until the town church bells rang..which was often 😂) & the staff were fantastic. When we arrived there is a very small spot to park off the street & the door to reception is directly across. They took our luggage for us & then went & parked our car for us (which was complimentary for our 2 days). The village piazza was a 6 min walk & the restaurant Carlo recommended, Don Pasquale, was excellent. It’s a 10 min drive down to the Marina area, where we went for dinner on our 2nd night & Carlo can arrange a taxi for that..I wouldn’t bother driving yourself. I think it would be the best place to stay up In the historic village!

We didn’t realise that it was so far up from the Marina area, but in saying that, we were actually happy that we stayed up there, as I don’t know if we would have gone up there if we were staying down on the coast level.

Location, and views

Bathroom was poorly designed. Found the in tub shower difficult to access comfortably. The overall room aesthetic was not to our taste, however the bed was comfortable. The outside areas of the hotel were very nice.
