Awwa Suites & Spa

The room was great, and was also well equipped. The staff is very kind and explained things thoroughly. We ordered the room service breakfast the next day and it was really good. We added the jacuzzi and also used the pool (free) and they were amazing, the person in charge was really attentive as well.

One small thing that I did not really like were the shower amenities. The shampoo and conditioner were just not good, but it was passable for a day. We had also tried to book massages via email and the person who replied (not the one in charge) told us we could book on site, but the day of there were no more available spots :( regardless the staff was very caring about it and tried to work around it. Last small thing is that I wish the scrambled eggs had less egg yolk, it was too yolk-y(?) and personally could not eat it. If they could perhaps asks how the guests want the eggs that could also work.

Wonderful stay in Palermo. Very well located and with all the amenities you need at a hotel. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was super complete and the staff were very nice and accommodating. Will return!

Very noisy traffic and construction noise

Excellent location (near Japanese Garden and MALBA), lots of cafes and restaurants nearby, including a Michelin restaurant next door. Room was very quiet with comfortable bed.

The continental breakfast (brought on a tray in the room) was quit terrible; very much like what’s served on a long distance flight, including the tiny serving plates. A lot of various small items, including fruit yogurt (labeled high in sugar), pack of strawberry jam (also labeled high in sugar), dry, old tasting meza luna; soggy small croissant. Got fresh fruit (an apple) only once out of the 4 breakfasts I had there. Rest of the time they served half of a canned pear. Really sad and disappointing for a nice hotel that calls itself “boutique”.
