Cheap. Near Haynes Motor and Fleet Air Arm museums. Good evening meals available. Good sized shower with power shower.
Room badly in need of update and refurb. Scuffed and marked walls, bathroom tile missing, shabby carpet, broken clothes hooks (no wardrobe), grubby windows. Make sure your breakfast is properly cooked! Mine wasn’t.

Not a very comfy bed. Pillows very soft.

There was no plug on the sink in the bathroom. Spotlight in bathroom flickered.

Breakfast was very good - also booking in and out was straightforward
The dinner service - we waited and couldn't get served so went elsewhere
The Bed - the mattress was several inches too short for the bed - we had to cover the bottom corners of the bed with our coats to protect our legs from the corners while walking past to the en-suite

Friendly staff and nice room with good en suite and lovely breakfast. Great location and free parking. Meals available, which were good. Historic building.
Some noise until midnight on Saturday though this is what you’d expect from a popular pub. Window painted shut and bed a little creaky - but these are very minor.

No need to go anywhere else it's all there food a nice drink in the bar.
The room we're a let down but they are new owners so are going to revamp the rooms over time.
Just need to keep the cleanliness up a bit even before the revamp.
Plus a carpet cleaner would help too
But we would stay there next year

We were just staying overnight on our car trip. Bed was comfy. Bathroom fairly new. Towels good quality. Great English breakfast included plus coffee/tea/juice/cereal/toast etc. We were surprised because we thought we would have to pay for the English. Nice garden and courtyard for eating. A nice looking restaurant attached but no one was in there. We got an Indian take out three doors down.
At first quite a bit of noise because the Inn is over a pub but in all fairness it was Saturday night and a football match. Quietened down after a while. The rooms are what you pay for. Basic and cheap (for England). Water pressure a bit strange. Staff need to dust behind furniture. I moved one thing and trousers were covered in dust.

Breakfast is very good sets you up for day!
Room too small. No wardrobe or dresser. Ensuite fine except missing tile and shower tray extremely slippy (health hazard). Shower screen door needs easing, hard to close.

from the evening meal which was the tastiest burger and chips ive ever had
the breakfast was amazing .
staff very friendly and polite .room was clean
the room was very small the bathroom handle was broken and we got locked in the bathroom having to ask staff to get it open . the bathroom was so small and not much room to move
the bed was the worst we have ever slept in
ended up sleeping on the floor for part of the night .

The team were really friendly and accommodating.
Our stay was fantastic value for money and breakfast was included.

Our room was large. I requested a twin room for my son and I and we had two double beds which were incredibly comfortable.
