Once I understood what was nearby and how to ride the buses into the city center, everything worked out very well. With the help of the host, I had that figured out the first afternoon. Walking to the city center was also an excellent option based on the weather and the availability of visiting some parks on the way. The host was helpful and unobtrusive. The room was perfectly adequate. If you are headed to Heathrow at the end of your visit, the Airline bus route is less than a mile via paved, flat route. Easy to pull my roller bag.
The various bus lines used different methods of reading my bus pass. Sometimes I had to put my phone in one way and sometimes I had to put it in another way. That I found a bit confusing in trying to get around the area

Breakfast not included. Shower was inconsistent on temperature. Decor is dated and needs modernising.
