Quality of the accommodation was excellent, we had a fantastic sleep , the mattress was very good quality . The area was beside everything, yet very quiet & peaceful ..The lady Cilla had everything covered ,from spare umbrellas to sunhats ! Loved our stay ,we will be back !

OMG, this was may be my favorite place that I stayed on my entire trip. I was lucky that someone else had cancelled, because I got in at the last minute... on a weekend. The hostess could not have been lovelier, giving me a map, dining recommendations, calling me a taxi and waiting with me for it to come... It's a simple house with private rooms that all have their own bathrooms... but it's just done WELL. Everything feels very knew and thoughtfully designed. It's also about a 2 minute walk from the train station and convenient to the rest of town. I can't recommend enough.

Cilla was absolutely amazing, everything was refreshed everyday, the location was amazing, the customer service was honestly exceptional we couldn’t fault a thing!

Lovely guest house, very conveniently situated. The host Cilla was welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Our room was impeccably modern with a large television and very clean. It had a fridge, plates & cutlery which was very useful. Stayed 24 July to 5 August 2022.

Cilla is so accommodating and cannot do enough to help you. Nothing is too much bother and the food you ask for is great! She can also offer lots of information on things to do and places to visit.

very clean room and very quiet as it was at the back of the building - nice to have a table and cutlery etc in the room with table and seating. Nice large TV. Breakfast served to the room at pre requested time and very nice and reasonably priced. Cilla who runs the property is very nice and straight to the point - which we liked
Room could have been a little larger , very comfortable though - ours was the smallest room ( I believe) - But we still would have chosen this room as it was very quiet and away from the main road

Breakfast was excellent and good value for money. Room was spotlessly clean. Cilla was a fabulous host and nothing was too much trouble.

Location couldn't be better, lots of restaurant, bars beaches and supermarkets within minutes of the guest house. Cilla, was a fantastic host and couldn't do enough for us and kept the rooms spotlessly clean. Breakfast is no longer included in the price but can be ordered the day before, Which is then brought to your room at the time you specified and is excellent value for money.

This was room only, the host put plates cutlery bowls wine glasses in the rooms, kettle mugs milk tea coffee, Due to covid people were taking food back to the rooms due to restaurant not being open, they decided to stop doing breakfast allowing guests to bring food back.
Location was in the centre of all amenities, beaches across the road shops bars restaurants around the corner.
Stairs steep to rooms not ideal for disabled people who struggle with stairs.

The host was very good the only bit that upset us was we didn't have breakfast included in the price if it was then we would of accepted the price

The location was excellent literally a stones throw from bars and restaurants. Breakfast is not provided but facilities are in the room to have cereals etc and there are several breakfast restaurants close by. ( we did have trouble finding places to eat because a lot of restaurants were booking only or closed or short staffed and had limited menus and seating) obviously this has no bearing on the accommodation which was excellent

we booked a weeks holiday at the Wenden house. On arrival the bedroom was absolutely gorgeous, the room even had a coffee machine! Our room was cleaned every day which was a bonus. The hotel really made our holiday. Thank you so much we will definitely be returning!!!

A really nice stay in a quiet, well maintained hotel. Cilla was a good host making sure we were aware of the breakfast situation prior to our visit. The room was very comfortable and clean and was spruced up daily. The hotel is in a good location with nice beaches minutes away and plenty of good places to eat nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

The host Cilla was fantastic, very friendly and chatty. Our room had everything we needed and it was very clean and comfortable. The location was great, really close to the beach, restaurants and shops. Being allocated a parking space a few mins away was handy too and was only £5 a day. Overall we loved it here. We would definitely recommend to others and will come and stay here again in the future!

Great room with everything you need for a relaxing stay in a top location....also extras such as beach towels and tea and biscuits to help yourself with! Cilla is a great and experienced host who is very welcoming and kind...really enjoyed my trip to Newquay!
