The motel is configured as you would expect for a motel, with large rooms and up to date fittings. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Coffee and tea, plus milk, are provided for free in the rooms, and there are other snack/drink options you can pay for.

The WiFi was poor - 1.5Mbps when it worked, and no internet access when it didn’t. No breakfast is offered at the motel, but Molly’s café just around the corner is a decent alternative for breakfast. The motel is a little outside the seafront centre of Strahan - about 15 minutes walk, but an easy drive of course.

This is an exceptional motel. Small private well located clean friendly tidy fully serviced. I could not ask for more in a room. The next night I stayed in a fancy hotel without much of the facility which was provided at Strawn Motel. I was super impressed, thank you to everyone there

Beds comfortable

The courtyard to our room was so overgrown that the blackberries were growing into the door tracks. Would have been nice to sit there in the sun and out of the wind. There were rats running around in the courtyard. This shower in the next room so loud it woke us at night.
