Onar Hotel & Suites

I actually hesitated to write this review, because every now and then you come across a hidden gem that you almost don’t want to share with the rest of the world for fear of spoiling it! We spent three amazing days at this wonderful hotel and absolutely loved it. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, as was our room — we stayed in a Superior Design Room. The hotel is located on a quiet street just outside Tinos Town, yet close enough to easily walk into town for dinner, drinks, or simply a stroll. Honestly, I don’t understand why people would spend all their time on Mykonos when you can simply hop over to Tinos, where there is so much to see and do and the atmosphere is wonderful. But what really makes this hotel special, beyond the beautiful exterior and interior, are the people. The owners and staff are some of the kindest, warmest, and most helpful people you could wish for. Nothing is too much trouble, and they genuinely make you feel welcome. The breakfast deserves a special mention as well — absolutely delicious, with plenty of variety and something different to enjoy each morning. If we ever return to the Cyclades, I won’t hesitate for a second to come back to this lovely hotel. A true hidden gem — although now I’ve probably spoiled the secret!

Absolutely nothing — except perhaps regretting that we only booked three nights. We definitely wish we had stayed longer!

Beautiful accommodation and such lovely staff. The view from our balcony was fantastic. The breakfast was always lovely.

Amazing breakfast included in price, wonderful staff with very personal attention. Beautiful Cycladic decor with stunning pool.

Some of the rooms are dated so ask for an updated one.
