Gostei do quarto amplo

A localização foi difícil de encontrar rapidamente quando cheguei, o que me levou a usar um táxi do aeroporto fato que foi extremamente caro O café da manhã é ótimo, maravilhoso mas o valor a ser pago é muito alto. Poderiam oferecer um meio termo, para turistas que não comem o café da manhã oriental. Também achei um absurdo cobrar para lavar a roupa. Todos os outros hotéis que ficamos tinham lavanderia gratuita.

The staff was helpful and quite friendly, as far as they had competence. I got a room on top floor and an upgrade. There was seldom a long wait for the elevator as there were quite a few of them. Also the hotel is close to a beautiful little river running quite near, for a nice evening walk. There is a restaurant open 24/7 that saved me, as I was only in Beijing for 24h and did not manage to set up the necessary aliPay that all food courts and restaurants seem to use. The sweet lady waiting in the breakfast was very friendly and solved my issue quite professionally. I love those little extra efforts. Also the breakfast had a good assortment and a very nice little Chinese garden with some seats.

The communication between Booking.com and the hotel was very limited and I had to put down a guarantee straining my financials a bit. The hotel is quite good standard but the room was definitely not the quality of the price you pay in comparison with other hotels in Beijing and I think I even got an upgrade (for which I'm very grateful) but still not quite up to standards. I found a small piece of glass on the bathroom floor but no injuries. The concierge was a little nonchalant and could not help much with anything. For instance getting the prepayment on Didi (like Uber) to go to my card and not via a setup on AliPay was absolutely foreign to him and he offered me a 3 times more expensive cab.

The location is perfect, close to metro and in a very nice area with the river.

The carpets everywhere were dirty and need cleaning.
