Vinci Hotel Airport

Breakfast was good. Room was comfortable. I liked that the window opened up all the way. Pretty rooftop terrace. The room was clean.

The AC unit didn't seem to work. Beds were ok.

The room was actually very cozy! The bed was comfy, all sorts of ambient lights were available in the room, there was a separate shower, and the breakfast was okay.

This came as a big shock to me - if you take a Bolt taxi from the airport to the hotel, everything is fine. But, if you try to get a Bolt or an Uber from the hotel, it shows that the property is out of the pick up range. I had checked out of the hotel, tried to order a taxi and... nothing. Apps say it's an industrial zone and there's construction happening right next to it, so no drivers can pick you up from there. For 40 minutes I just stood outside trying to find the nearest point a driver can pick me up from. I did get an Uber in the end, but no one wants to pick you up from there.

The room was freezing. It was feel like minus 4 in krakow and the heating was off. I said to staff who said they couldn’t do anything about it so I spent a very cold night. Felt sick before and worse after. Taxi to airport v difficult. I used one of the taxi cards provided. They charged 110 which is more than double the usual price. That’s my fault of course. I should’ve stayed in the centre of krakow but didn’t think they’d overcharge so much.
