Hotel Clemens

Great location, can walk to many things.

There are the craziest steps in the whole world to get into the lobby and any of the room. Not the hotels fault just wild amount of steps lol!

Hotel Clemens has a fantastic central location, close to everything in the city centre and perfect for exploring Amsterdam on foot. The staff were absolutely wonderful - friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, often going above and beyond what you would expect. What we will remember most are the people working there: always smiling, kind, and genuinely happy to assist. A special bonus for us were the two adorable reception cats, Zina and Mikey! 🐱🐱 The breakfast was excellent, and they have coffee and tea available throughout the day. Our room was not large, but that is hardly a surprise in Amsterdam, and it was perfectly comfortable for our stay. There are, of course, stairs, but again, that is part of the Amsterdam experience - and the hotel staff were always happy to help guests with their luggage. Overall, a lovely hotel with a great location and, most importantly, truly wonderful people. We would happily stay here again!

Room was small but perfect for just me, as I was traveling alone. Nice communal sitting area with a nice balcony, perfect for relaxing or having a chat. Nice quiet room. Good breakfast as well!

Long steep staircase upon entry but staff was super-helpful and happily carried my bag up at check-in and down at check-out. Bathroom was also quite small and might be tight for a taller or larger person, but that might just have been the particular room I was in. Worked just fine for me though.

Centralissimo. a due passi dalla ruota panoramica della città e soprattutto a 50 metri dallo snodo metropolitano Deák Ferenc tér (incrocio linee gialla, rossa e blu). da qui vai dappertutto in poco tempo. Appartamento piccolo ma accogliente e fornito di tutto il necessario per trascorrere una gradevole vacanza.

Il palazzo (storico) in cui si trova l'appartamento verte in condizioni pessime. Sporco e fatiscente. Avevamo l'accesso al primo piano attraverso una scala che nei giorni di permanenza non è stata mai pulita. I soffitti delle parti comuni erano pesantemente danneggiate e avevamo i secchi dell'immondizia al piano terra che (ovviamente) spargevano cattivi odori.
