Just very good

Great breakfast, great dinner, great beer, great service, all in a lovely village
The room was a little cramped, if I must find a negative, but it wasn't a problem

Location and staff were perfect. I had what I needed in the room and the pub itself was lovely. Breakfast was very good and we were all looked after.
The bathroom was tired with black mould on shower tiles and around the shower. My wall mirror was so high up in my twin room I couldn't see into it

Close to walking areas of Dartmoor
Warm and friendly atmosphere
Nice to see “the locals” were on first name terms with the owners.
Pub closes at 7:30 we had been out all day and had to find alternative location for dinner which then added to our additional spendature.
The full English had tasted like it had been heated up, coffee from a machine not filtered.
Tv in an awkward location for the bedroom, superior bedroom had what we needed but the decor was dated and had cracks in the wall.
The hot water tap on the bath was wobbly, single glazed windows drew in a chill during the night and we could hear external noise quite clearly. Bed wasn’t very comfy.

"Caratteristico pub con stanze al piano superiore, in posizione centrale ma comunque tranquilla. Ottima colazione. Pulizia eccellente. Biancheria da bagno con anche accappatoi. L'atmosfera accogliente ..."
