Villa Chad Luxury Guesthouse

Villa Chad is a lovely place. We received a warm welcome on arrival. The luxurious rooms are furnished with very comfortable beds with soft linen and a well equipped bathroom. The enclosed garden is a perfect spot to unwind with a view of the mountains. In the morning, breakfast can be served here as well. The Guesthouse also has a cozy wellness area where you can book all kinds of beauty treatments, such as make-up and nails, as well as a wonderful massage by Elize. Villa Chad makes a great base for day trips. From the guesthouse you can walk straight into the nature reserve next to it. Also, the owners Suzanne & Ludvig are happy to share tips on things to do in the area or they can even arrange anything from a wine tasting up to a horse riding trip. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, nature and a little pampering!

A unique spot en route to the garden route. I really LOVED the tropical garden and the singing cleaning lady. Linnen was crisp and perfumed, breakfast was also a nice treat. I will for sure come back here on the way to Cape Town as 1 night was a little too short!

I only needed a quick place to stay for one night and I’m super happy I found this little spot. I didn’t want to stay in Hermanus as it felt too busy for me, and this was such a great place! Will definitely come back for some exploration of the hiking trails and coastal cliff paths. Next time!

The breakfast was very good

Very disappointed that our room had major sanitation issues - a non functioning toilet that had not been repaired - expressed our disappointment with the owner
