The hotel is ideally located between the iconic beaches and the historic town. I had seen some reviews mentioning the steep steps, and while they are indeed quite steep, this is to be expected given the location. The pool is lovely and provides a peaceful, quiet spot to relax and unwind.
The beds could have been more comfortable. As I was pregnant during our stay, I asked for an extra pillow and was told they would bring one if they could find one. Unfortunately, I never received it, which was disappointing given the circumstances.

It was in a beautiful setting with fantastic views and, as a gardener myself, the most wonderful planting. The pool was great and the room interesting, with the most amazing sunrises.
Couldn't believe we fell on such a gem.
All was good, except maybe the steps up to town and down to the beach. It kept us fit though!

Good location between the beach and Taormina Centre
Clean, staff were very helpful when our flights were cancelled from Catania.

The swimming pool is great, the bartender there is a nice guy.
On the first night our room (and the adjecent room) didn’t have electricity (while the other rooms of the hotel had so it wasn’t a breakdown affecting the whole area) which gave us the chance to experience the life of medieval Taorminians, except that we used our iPhones’ flash instead of candles. There was nobody at the reception after 8pm, and they haven’t reacted ever to our texts sent to the numbers associated with the hotel. When we brought up the topic regarding of the electrical deficit of last night the next morning, we got a plain “thanks for letting me know” and “sorry” twice, while they had plenty of options to make it a bit better.

"Un posto meraviglioso con una vista spettacolare – una vera oasi di pace e di atmosfera rilassata. Così vicino alla vivace Isola Bella e a Taormina, ma allo stesso tempo così speciale, silenzioso e ma..."
