Staff were friendly; location as described. Room was clean.

My room was at Nungwi Retreat which neighbours Union Beach Bungalows, so not as described or I had booked. I had to request them to clean my room; which I would’ve thought would be done automatically. There is no Wi-Fi at the property.

Beach, room, hot shower, staff, breakfast

Location. Right on the beach. Many restaurants nearby. Especially when it gets dark the beach becomes alive with many small restaurants you don't even notice during the day having tables and chairs on the beach. Marvelous displays of fresh seafood!!

Very basic. I give it a 5 out of 10 overall. Sheets were washed but stained, breakfast lousy but then again it was cheap, bed too short and I am just 5-11, so not particularly tall. Just booked two nights and wished I had booked just one. Then moved to another place close by. Not whole lot more expensive but a lot better overall.

because we didn't have hot water and water at all times, the air conditioning was working at night, they stole my mobile charger from the room

The place was good value for money and well located in the middle of almost places. The rooms are set back from the beach but the Reatuarant is right on the beachfront. They have fridges in each room which is nice to buy your own drinks from local shop and chill. Breakfast was good. For me the location was great as away from bigger hotels but still really close to everything else. Also Aircon in rooms!

Shower made a big mess on floor and was always wet. Towels were Torn and need to be replaced with new ones.
