Fedrig Private Rooms & Apartment

We rented a two bedroom apartment that was large and comfortable. We were blown away to have a fully automatic coffee machine with tasty coffee beans in our kitchen to get espresso 24/7. The kitchen also had two cooking plates and all equipment necessary for cooking; we appreciated in particular to find also olive oil and salt. The beds were very comfortable and the apartment was newly renovated, while providing a cosy feeling as a few of the old farmhouse elements still were showing (e.g., the arches above some windows). The bathroom had a great shower and a huge double sink which is really practical when several people want to use the bathroom in parallel. Also the heated towel rack was great. Breakfast was a very nice addition - a coffee maker made cappuccino and the like; various teas were offered, along with scrambled egg, very tasty croissants (we loved the chocolate ones in particular), various white breads, slices of melon, apples, various yogurts (plain and fruit), salmon, oats, and much more. We regularly saw the owner refill the buffet.

The only slight problem was very weak internet in the apartment - some devices would connect only in front of the building or in the breakfast room in the main tract of the building. Maybe a Wi-Fi extender would help? A tiny observation on the bathroom: it would be better to position the wall-mounted bottle for shower gel and shampoo at the other side of the sink (next to the shower) as it otherwise requires walking 2m while showering to get there! :)

Decor was middling

Stanza enorme da 3, usata per due con viti pendenti alle finestre. Chiesto due letti singoli: una persona ha dormito nel matrimoniale gigantesco, l'altra nel singolo. Casa antica ben ristrutturata, in centro , ma tranquilla. Giardino, enorme sottoportico con tavolini per riposare, chiacchierare, leggere. Ampio parcheggio interno chiuso ottimo per auto, moto, bici. Colazione super sia dolce sia salata gratuita, non so se per l'occasione o sia sempre così.

* the airconditioning did not work. Owner said aircon was not needed because it gets cold outside during the night. But our room remained too hot. And it wasn’t even summer season… * the area has a lot of bugs and musquito’s. Owner is taking the right action. With musquito spray and light that attract and kill them. However, you don’t want to open the windows because of this. (Another reason why we wanted to use the aircon) * wifi was non existing in the room. I can’t even call it poor. There was simply no signal at all. * we choose optional breakfast for 8 euro per person, which was a huge disappointment. Almost nothing was covered, so little bugs walked over the bread, and meat. Nothing was refilled, but luckily I barely had any apetite after what we saw. * owner did not show much spark / passion for the work. He was a kind guy, letting us in and guiding us to our room. But other than that there was no social interaction or feedback question about the stay at all.
