Struttura accogliente e tranquilla nel villaggio accanto a Tetebatu (Kembang Kuning). Camera molto semplice e in un contesto locale, perciò se siete abituati alle comodità europee forse non fa per voi. Propongono molti tour, tra cui il soft trekking organizzato da loro che consiglio molto. Noleggio scooter disponibile a 100k al giorno. Possibilità di pranzo/cena nella guest house, con prezzi adeguati e piatti molto buoni. Colazione con diverse opzioni, anche dolci. Per una permanenza da viaggiatore zaino in spalla consiglio questa struttura.

Spesso c'erano interruzioni di acqua nella struttura, ma lo staff provvedeva a sistemare il tutto appena glielo si faceva notare.

From the moment we arrived the host family were warm and welcoming, and we loved our competitive uno games! The location was tranquil, the food was incredible and the soft trekking tour was great fun!! We highly recommend staying here and hope to be back soon!

We received a warm welcome on arrival, and told to relax and enjoy a cuppa before going to our rooms. The homestay is located among the wider family’s house so you really get an insight into culture and living here. Most of my interactions were with Aldi, who was home from his studies for a week. He made sure we were always looked after, always offered a drink and he accompanied us on a tour of the local waterfall and villages. Aldi shared lots of information on culture in Tetebatu and Lombok which I really appreciated. As in previous reviews, nothing was pushed on us we were welcome to have a look at the available tours they offered, and choose whether to eat at the homestay or not. The food here is really affordable and good. I had the noodle soup which was generous and a papaya curry which was even more generous! The village where the homestay is is small but ever so friendly. We were greeted everytime we walked passed someone and in shops had long conversations with local owners. If you like a beer with a view we’d recommend walking to the nearby Cosy Corner (who are also very friendly). Would absolutely recommend staying here - thanks to Aldi and the family for their hospitality.

First of all, a big thank you to the wonderful family who really went out of their way to help with everything. We rented a scooter for 100k and were served a nice breakfast (scrambled eggs and toast).

When it comes to the room, however, I unfortunately have to give a lower rating. We found two cockroaches and a large gecko in our room at night, which made it a bit uncomfortable. There were also some stains on the sheets, and overall the cleanliness could have been better. I understand that at this price point you can’t expect too much, but it turned out to be a rougher experience than we had hoped for, especially compared to the many great reviews we had read beforehand. The location is also right next to a mosque, where morning prayers start at 04:40 sharp and last for quite a while. Add to that the roosters crowing right after, and it was very hard to get any proper sleep. All in all, if you don’t mind some noise and can overlook the downsides, it’s a good place for the money. The family themselves are incredibly kind, welcoming, and always smiling – truly wonderful hosts.
