In one word, Calapetra Resort was perfect for us!
The location is fantastic, right on the beach, with a beautiful bay just a few steps away. It’s about 20 minutes from Syracuse and around 30 minutes from Noto, so it’s also a great location for exploring the area by car.
The rooms are lovely, and the hotel itself is intimate, stylish and welcoming, with a wonderful family atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious, and there are several excellent restaurants nearby.
We especially enjoyed the jacuzzi overlooking the sea, which is available to all guests.
The staff were incredibly kind, friendly and helpful. They were also very understanding and accommodating when we were delayed due to the Etna eruption, which we really appreciated.
We absolutely loved our stay and would wholeheartedly recommend Calapetra Resort. We would be very happy to come back
There is also a jacuzzi overlooking the sea, available to all guests. The water was a little too cold for us to fully enjoy it, but the sea view was beautiful.

We had a great stay at this hotel. We had a large room with big terrace right next to the beach, which was very practical for going out to swim and sunbathing at the terrace. The hotel offers great breakfast, their gardens are lovely, and they have jacuzzi. The staff are very professional and helpful, also very polite and friendly. There are 2 restaurants within 2 minutes walk.
Ortigia was 20 minutes drive and it's a beautiful place to visit for history, great restaurants and shops.
