Loved everything about the apartment. Lovely decor, absolutely spotless and in a great location. The washer/dryer combo was useful, as were the English directions for using it we found in the cupboard! The information booklet provided for other information was a nice touch as well. Communication with the host was easy and we always heard back in a very timely manner. There is a grocery store within a short walking distance and the walk into town wasn’t too far.

Just a couple of things added to the otherwise well stocked kitchen would be useful for preparing meals and cleaning up afterward - a cutting board, oven mitts, sponge or cleaning cloth and a kitchen towel. : )

Didn't know how to get the stove to work! Pan must be on burner! Few minor learning moments, but not an issue! Simply called and got immediate help!

While we can’t fault the excellent facilities provided or the very attractive decor, I do feel that this particular apartment should come with a WARNING on the information page. It is on the top floor and, while we have dealt with stairs and no lifts before, this is quite possibly an accident waiting to happen but, at the very least, a very challenging exercise with heavy luggage! Be warned - the stairs are steep, narrow and winding. The ceilings are extremely slanted throughout and, both being tall, we found it quite uncomfortable having to bend over all the time to avoid hitting our heads. We couldn’t sit up in bed to read or have a cup of tea in the morning, and it felt quite claustrophobic. The location is quite handy for visiting all the sights, although it is up a very steep hill, so again something to bear in mind if pulling suitcases. Also the little terrace was extremely slippery. If in doubt, maybe pick one of the other 2 Dotre options.
