Location was great, just around the corner from the main via that runs into the center of old town, yet very quiet. Communication was excellent.

1- The home provides the bare minimum & could have been a little better equipped like filled soap containers in the bathrooms, more hangers, a microwave & wash cloths. They provided tiny bottles of "one & done" shampoos, but no conditioner or body wash. 2- While the bed was comfy, there was not much give to the pillows. 3- There is a coffee machine but since I don't drink my coffee black, I had to buy some sort of creamer but couldn't find anywhere that carried milk or cream, so i didn't use it. 4- I liked that a washing machine was there to use but instructions on how to use it would have saved me some time since it's quite different than typical ones we have in the US. 5- The home is really cute but if you're not fond of stairs, this one might not be for you. The entire home is 8 levels up, though not full flights, about 9 ft. wide & 15 ft. deep with a staircase that runs back & forth up the middle & one room on each floor. The bottom level is the kitchen, more of a kitchenette, which included a small kitchen table, 2 burners, a mini-fridge, sink & 2 coffee makers. Level 2 is the entry level with a small sofa. The 3rd is the main bathroom & shower. The 4th is the bedroom. The 5th is a dressing area. The 6th features a pullout sofa. The 7th is the 2nd bathroom with small shower & is where the washing machine is located. The top level is reached by a narrow spiral staircase that leads to a small, covered terrace that overlooks the via below & an open area where washed clothes can be hung to dry. 6- The staircase is open with only steps without risers in between - not conducive if you have toddlers or small children. Again, overall cute & serviceable but only provides the bare minimum. It wouldn't cost the owner much to make it more than basic.

Loved the location. Very central and close to piazzas, restaurants, cafes and walkable to the train station. The design is modern, spacious and unique.

Lots of stairs

To miejsce ma duszę. Od momentu przekroczenia progu poczuliśmy wyjątkowy klimat prawdziwej Apulii. Pięknie odrestaurowany kamienny dom zachwyca każdym detalem – jest stylowy, przytulny i jednocześnie oferuje wszystko, czego potrzeba do komfortowego pobytu. Apartament był idealnie czysty, bardzo dobrze wyposażony i urządzony z ogromnym smakiem. Wieczory spędzone tutaj miały niepowtarzalny klimat, a poranki z włoską kawą były prawdziwą przyjemnością. Ogromnym atutem jest lokalizacja – można zostawić samochód i spacerem odkrywać urokliwe uliczki Monopoli, port, restauracje i plaże. Wszystko jest dosłownie na wyciągnięcie ręki. Na szczególne podziękowania zasługują gospodarze – serdeczni, życzliwi i niezwykle gościnni. Dzięki nim czuliśmy się bardziej jak mile widziani goście niż turyści. Podróżujemy dużo, ale są miejsca, które zostają w sercu. La Dimora dei Nonni z pewnością do nich należy. Jeśli wrócimy do Monopoli, to tylko tutaj. Grazie di cuore! ❤️
