I had a great stay here. A traditional good hotel in a perfect location by the seaside, with a great deal of charm. I particularly enjoyed all the small details, such as the little picture tiles - each of them different - set into the floor of my balcony overlooking the sea. I thought it must take constant care for this hotel to keep all its old-school charm while also keeping up to date (great pool areas, super in-room tv offerings, enjoyable breakfast buffet which could also be taken outside on the terrace, etc.) Thank you for the good holiday.

I was a bit puzzled that the combination of towels in my room every day seemed to change, even though I had followed the usual code to let the staff know what to change (hanging up / not hanging up.) I thought it was rather old-fashioned and I environmentally friendly that there was no option for guests to sort their waste for recycling - particularly because the hotel only provided a water bottle on the first night so after that the plastic bottles from the shops started to accumulate. Or else a corridor drinking water dispenser would have been good. The layout of the breakfast room is a bit random so at busy periods it's a bit chaotic and stressful as guests crisscross the room, trying to find things which are not where you expect.

Great location, pool area and breakfast.

Rooms are old and beds very uncomfortable. Our bathroom also had ants crawling around. Had to move toiletries to keep ants from getting in them. Talked to front desk about it but nothing improved.

The room windows face big vantilators outside. Can’t sleep with open window.

Location and swimming pools

Extraordinary location and sea view and very good pool facilities. The possibility to extend check-out time was very welcome given the bad experience with Check-in. The hotel has an aura and a look of the French and Italian Riviera that does not go out of fashion

The check-in was chaotic: the was a wedding in the hotel at the same time that seemed to contribute to the confusion. We waited for one hour to get the room number and the key, only to find out that and extra bed that had been paid for was not installed. This was finally resolved at dinner time. The hotel needs renovation in many aspects: the wall paper in the rooms would benefit to be hidden by a coat of paint, the line up of small couches in the access to the restaurant needs re-upholstering because they are falling apart, the coffee machines at breakfast are hopelessly slow and many other details that do not seem hard to solve or cost a fortune, but would make a difference.
