Hôtel Mercedes

Such a great hotel! Have to admit, the outside doesn’t do the inside justice. Really cool art deco interior and super smooth music played in the reception / bar area. Super comfortable beds - slept very well. Great size bathrooms, especially for Paris. Nice soaps/bodywashes/shampoos in the bathroom as well which is always a lovely touch. Perfectly located for where we wanted to be (visiting family) - it’s in the 17th arrondissement so about a 20 min walk to arc de triumph. And other sites. 2 minutes from the metro station. Very friendly staff at the hotel which is also nice. There is a little lift if you fear the Parisian staircases.

Nothing!

A beautiful Parisian hotel. Hotel staff were very friendly, kind, understanding and helpful. The location was great and a short walk from Arc de Triomphe. We had the suite and it was beautiful, with an amazing view and mezzanine bedroom. There was also a convenience store right next door and restaurant options close by.

Comfortable bed and well working air conditioning in the Paris heat. Very friendly staff offering good service and with free coffee and water in the lobby!

Overall, I had a very nice stay and all the staff were absolutely wonderful! With some improvements on cleaning/facilities, this could have been a higher rated stay. Pros: -very close to metro line/easy to get into busier parts of the city -walking distance to Park Monceau (beautiful park) -very friendly and kind staff (special thank you to Victoria!) who were also kind enough to speak with me in English -the bed

Cons: -the rooms are extremeley small -unfortunately, my room could have been much cleaner. There was dust and dirt throughout, stains on the bedding, and at one point the sink and shower did not have hot water
