Mahara Hotel & Wellness

Good centralized location. Had the basics of what you need in a vacation stay. There is a spa on the property where I got a great deep tissue massage and that was a highlight of my stay here.

The bed was so hard and uncomfortable. Like a brick. Serious back and hip pain from this bed. We had family members in other rooms with the same experience so can confirm that it was not just the bed in our room. My time in this location was negatively affected by my lack of comfortable sleep. There is friendly front desk staff but this is not concierge. Very little information about local attractions, beaches, etc. The pool is well maintained but there are many parts of this property that seem run down (ie broken fountain, outdoor couches with saggy cushions). The property could use a refresh. Almost everything is an extra charge, including towels for the pool or beach. While WiFi is included, it was spotty and slow. Due to the uncomfortable beds I would not stay here again.
